This guide walks you through the steps to get started using Thunderbird for your emails.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What you require:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before you begin, make sure you have:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your full email address (e.g., <a href=\"mailto:yourname@yourdomain.com\">yourname@yourdomain.com<\/a>)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your email password<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Incoming and outgoing mail server details<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"steps-to-adding-your-email\"><strong>Steps To Adding your email<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Open Thunderbird<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Launch Mozilla Thunderbird on your computer.<br><br><strong>2. Add a New Account<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Enter your <strong>Name<\/strong> (as you want it displayed to recipients), <strong>Email Address<\/strong>, and <strong>Password<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Configure manually<\/strong> (instead of letting Thunderbird auto-detect settings), so you can enter the server details yourself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Select Account Type<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the manual configuration options, choose <strong>IMAP<\/strong> as the incoming account type.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. Once the setup connection is successful, Thunderbird will confirm the account has been added and display it in the folder pane on the left.
