your <strong>Sites<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find the site you want to manage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Settings cog icon<\/strong> beside that site.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure section<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On the left-hand side of the settings page, look for the <strong>Password<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Change<\/strong> button in that section.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You\u2019ll be taken to the relevant password area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>Reset password<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Scout will now automatically generate a new secure SFTP password for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><br><strong>Copy and store the new password<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>After the password is reset, you\u2019ll see your new password displayed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To the right of the password, click the small <strong>Copy<\/strong> icon.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Now is a good time to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Save the password in a <strong>Password Manager<\/strong>, or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share it securely with a <strong>trusted developer<\/strong> who will be managing the site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"banner-tip\">\ud83d\udc49 \u26a0\ufe0f <strong>Important:<\/strong> Treat this password like a key to your website.
