About our Migration Service

Every reseller hosting solution includes our comprehensive migration service. Our aim is to ensure that your transition to our service is smooth as possible for both you and your clients, removing the stress involved in changing hosting providers.

Migrations consist of assessing, copying, testing, switching and then re-testing the website.

Assess

The first stage of our migration process is to assess your current hosting package and the website(s) involved.

This allows us to build a better understanding of your hosting needs and how you're using your existing services.

Copy

After the assessment has been completed, your migration will be scheduled in at a date/time that's convenient for you.

We then begin 'mirroring' your website and email accounts from your existing host onto your new package.

Test

Once the website has been setup on the new hosting package, we extensively test your website to ensure it's in working order before proceeding any further.

Any issues identified during the testing phase are fixed and recorded in the migration notes for future reference.

Switch & Check

Your domain's DNS is updated to point to the hosting package with us, completing the migration.

Following the migration, a second health check is made to ensure that the DNS is correct and a final follow up is made with you to ensure everything is working correctly.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many websites can the reseller packages support?

Each package has a pool of storage, bandwidth and cPanel accounts which you can use.

In theory, each cPanel account supports an unlimited number of domains through Addon domains but we would recommend creating a cPanel account per-customer.

You can divide up your storage and bandwidth amongst your cPanel accounts as you wish. Overselling is supported, meaning you can allocate more resources than you have available on your account.

Can you upgrade and downgrade between packages?

Absolutely, you can upgrade and downgrade between any of our packages at any time. We're also happy to accommodate individual resource upgrades, allowing you to bolt on resources as & when you need them.

You can upgrade/downgrade your service through our customer portal at anytime or simply call/email and we'll handle the change of service for you.

Upgrades & downgrades are seamless with zero downtime. We understand flexibility is key, that's why we've designed our reseller platform from the ground up to ensure it can scale with you.

Is there a Service Level Agreement (SLA)?

All of our services are covered by our financially backed 99.99% uptime Service Level Agreement (SLA). You can read more about SLA in our Terms of Service.

Do you offer 24/7 support?

We've established an exceptional reputation for customer service, this is reflected in our reviews.

Although this service is not covered by our 24 hour support, the hosting platform's overall health is monitored 24/7/365. If a problem occurs with the service that's service affecting, rest assured - we'll be on the case.

Do you offer end user support?

Our aim is to become an extension of your existing team so that we can support your business with its hosting needs.

However, our support does not currently encompass end user support (i.e. your clients), this is your responsibility as the reseller. If you would like us to support your end users, we can tailor a white label support package at an additional cost.

We'll of course do everything we can to support you whilst you help your client with their problem.
