Transferring a .co.uk domain to cloudabove
Before you begin (important for existing services)
If there are any active services on your domain (for example, a live website or email accounts), please contact our support team before you request the transfer.
We’ll make sure your DNS zone is set up on our side first so that your website and email continue to work during and after the transfer. If you’re not sure whether anything is currently using the domain, just reach out and we’ll help you check.
How .co.uk transfers work
Transferring a .co.uk domain is simpler than transferring a .com, and there are no transfer fees.
Unlike .com domains, .co.uk domains use an IPS Tag to identify the registrar. To move your .co.uk domain from your current registrar to us, follow these steps:
1) Ask your current Registrar to change the IPS Tag on your domain to:
CLOUDABOVE
2) Submit the transfer request to us via your client area: https://my.cloudabove.com/cart.php?a=add&domain=transfer
