Upgrading/Downgrading a cPanel account
As a Reseller you can create and manage your client’s cPanel accounts, which also includes assigning Packages to the cPanel accounts in order to set certain limits. But what if you need to change the Package that’s assigned to a cPanel account?
Fro example, maybe you have a client who’s asked for an upgrade and you now want to change the Package they’re using to increase certain limits. Well, that’s where the Upgrade/Downgrade an Account section of WHM comes into play.
1. Login to your WHM account. The login credentials for this would have been sent to you in an email when you first set up an account with us. If you do not have these credentials, please contact support for further assistance.
2. Using the left hand menu, search and navigate to Upgrade/Downgrade an Account.

3. Select an account from the list and click Modify.

4. You will now see a list of available packages that you have created, simply select your desired package and click Upgrade/Downgrade.

That’s it, you’ve now Upgraded/Downgraded an Account by changing the Package assigned to the cPanel account.
