How to turn auto-renewal on or off for a domain
If you no longer need a domain, it’s important that you turn off auto-renewal to ensure it’s not renewed for a further year.
Once a domain is renewed, it cannot be reversed and we unfortunately cannot issue a refund as we’re not able to recover the cost of the renewal from the registry. Domains are one of the few services that don’t have a flexible billing policy.
Likewise, if you want to ensure a domain renews automatically each year, it’s important auto-renewal is enabled on the domain.
Changing a domain’s auto-renew setting
- Login to your cloudabove account at my.cloudabove.com
- Click Domains in the main menu
- Click the menu icon next to the domain you wish to manage and click Auto Renewal Status

- Toggle Auto Renew as needed
